Breadth Requirements
Course Registration A student who seeks to graduate with a thesis option MS degree must enroll in 6 units of CSE , Master's Research under the supervision of a thesis committee chair. Students attempting to enroll will be automatically placed on a waitlist until a Research Proposal Form is received in the department office. Please submit forms to the Graduate Program Coordinator. Computer Science (Sci): Fundamental mathematical, algorithmic and representational issues in computer graphics: overview of graphics pipeline, homogeneous coordinates, projective transformations, line-drawing and rasterization, hidden surface removal, surface modelling (quadrics, bicubics, meshes), rendering (lighting, reflectance models, ray tracing, texture mapping), compositing . 21/08/ · A thesis committee consisting of at least three faculty members, two in Computer Science and one in an outside department, must be selected during your second thesis term. Once enrolled for thesis credit, you must remain enrolled for thesis credit continuously until you complete your defense.
